Public space and deliberative democracy - Rethinking policies in a socialist society with help from Jurgen Habermas

What are necessary conditions of an autonomous public space in "civilian society", in which liberty, autonomy and responsibility would be protected by various rules? The author tries to answer not only, as usually, from the single angle of institutions, but also having regard to the state aspect. For his demonstration he takes inspiration from Jurgen Habermas, peculiarly on the subject of "deliberative democracy".
