THE STUDIES ON JUDEOCONVERSO HERITAGE IN THE CROWN CASTILLA: ARTISTIC PROMOTIONS AS AN INSTRUMENT OF SOCIAL INTEGRATION (15TH-17TH CENTURIES)

This work presents the current status of the issue of Castilian judeoconverso heritage. including in it the artistic manifestations promoted both by Jews converted to Christianity, and by their successors. For this inn-pose, an analysis is done of some of the studies on identified Judeconverso heritage, as well as others that are still to be identified as such, based on the existing works that allow us to do it. As conclusions, it is highlighted the importance that this type of initiatives had in the processes of integration of the Jewish converts in the society of the time, the need to review the available bibliography and to deepen in the investigation through the study of new sources, as well as to promote the interdisciplinary work between historians and art historians with the aim of continuing advancing in the knowledge of the subject.
