摘要
A novel compact asymmetric-slotted-slit-rectangular microstrip patch antenna coaxially fed is proposed. The antenna provides resonating frequency at 6.06 and 6.45 GHz providing approximately 66.33% size reduction compared to an ordinary microstrip patch antenna. Further the antenna has been modified to resonate at a frequency of 4.66 GHz, providing approximately a size reduction of 80.22%. A good agreement between simulated and measured results is obtained.
