摘要：

The purpose of this article is to establish a new fixed point theorem in the context of complex valued b-metric spaces and to generalize some results of complex valued metric spaces. With the existence of fixed point theorem under some contractive conditions, a non trivial example is also furnished to demonstrate the main result.
