摘要
The paper assessed the impacts of capacity building on community leadership for managing Bui National Park; and whether dam construction, resettlement, ethnicity, age, livelihood, and gender could mediate the impacts of capacity building on community leadership for managing Bui National Park. Data were gathered through multiple methods through an administration of questionnaires and interviews. The paper resolved the few capacity building opportunities on community leadership failed to meet the core needs of the dam impacted communities, including the management of the Bui National Park. Ethnicity (Nafana, Ewe, and Mo) and relocate were the only preditors of community leadership.
