摘要
Many traditional engineering schools are trying valiantly to keep up with the increasing need for adaptability, creativity and innovation in the engineering curriculum. A more market driven higher education marketplace and the changing expectations of learners add to the drivers for change. In this paper we present the process by which we have carried out a School-wide curriculum redesign across the first years of Civil, Aerospace, Mechanical and Engineering Design degrees at the University of Bristol, UK. This process, following a constructive alignment model, has allowed the development of a curriculum adapted to today's learners and to the modern University.
