VIBRATION OF LOADED BEAM INITIATED BY FULLY OR PARTIALLY DESTRUCTION OF THE ELASTIC FOUNDATION

One of the most important tasks of modern structural mechanics is a sensitivity analysis of actual and projected designs to various influences not provided for under normal operating conditions arising, in particular, in emergency situations, as a result of wear and damage accumulation, etc. The paper presents a mathematical model of the dynamic transition process initiated in structurally nonlinear (i.e., changing the calculation scheme under load) a beam on an elastic foundation, with a sudden complete or partial destruction of one. As a result, a sudden change in conditions of bearing loaded beam is in motion, during which there is a redistribution and increased maximum stress that can lead to damped oscillations, or to aperiodic transition to a new state, or to loss of the bearing ability and destruction.
