摘要
DC circuit breaker is one of the most important devices for DC power distribution grid. This paper focused on the electromagnetic transient of +/- 10kV/1kA DC distribution system with hybrid DC circuit breaker. The DC system parameters and structure was introduced. The model of hybrid DC circuit breaker was proposed, considering the arc characteristics of mechanical switching branch and the non-linear impedance of power electronic converter branch and MOV. The transient characteristics of the switching operation and the current commutation were calculated. The influence factors on the switching characteristics was analyzed.
