A remote channel borrowing approach for real-time congestion control in wireless communication

摘要
This paper presents a novel, and highly practical, global channel borrowing method for cellular communi cations. Unlike the traditional notion of channel sharing between adjacent cells, we consider the global and dynamic channel borrowing approach that allows realtime borrowing of channels from cells that are remote. We propose heuristics to solve the channel borrowing problem at the Instance of high traffic load - which brings in the issues of remote chain borrowing strategy and concept of dynamic resource reservation pools. The results of the undertaken strategy are validated by simulation.
