摘要
Rate of depression among adolescents is increasing each year but only few received evidence-based treatment due to limited access. Computerized cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is invented to address this problem and is proven efficient to treat depression in adults. However, its effectiveness to treat adolescents still remains a question. Current literature suggests that engagement when using computerized CBT is an issue. The objective of this study is to analyze existing computerized CBT programs to address the engagement issue. Interviews with professionals also have been conducted to get some verifications and views on engagement in computerized CBT with adolescents. From the study, we can conclude that further research needs to be conducted especially on how to engage adolescents better.
