Web applets for interactive tutorials on artificial neural learning

This paper describes the development of Java(TM) Web applets for tutorials on artificial neural learning. The first, the artificial neuron applet, simulates the structure and behaviour of an artificial neuron, The second, the perceptron learning applet, demonstrates a simple form of supervised learning known as the perceptron learning algorithm. These applets exploit the benefits of Java to provide a dynamic and new approach to demonstrating artificial neural networks.
