摘要：

The Northern Dusky Salamander (Desmognathus fuscus) has been searched for extensively at its presumed northern range limit in Quebec, south of the St-Lawrence River. We report the first records of this species north of the St-Lawrence River, from Trois-Rivieres, in the west, to Cap-Tourmente in the east. These observations were made between 1987 and 2003, at 20 sites. Most of the sites where the Northern Dusky Salamander was found are streams and seepages.
