Once again: subject of economic sociology

Once again: subject of economic sociology is a renewed attempt to answer a much debated question related to the recently popular in Russia discipline of economic sociology. Analysis of its subject is aimed at delineating interdisciplinary borders between economic theory and economic sociology from the point of view of the subject, methods of research, and methodological approaches pertaining to economic sociology. Building his arguments on M. Weber's theorizing, "economic action as a form of social action" is taken by the author as a pivotal departing formulation of economic sociology subject. Specifics of an approach within the framework of economic sociology are discussed, as well as methodology and principles for construing models of economic and sociological individual and of a respective strategy of action.
