摘要
The approximation of some moments of eigenvalues and eigenvectors in eigenvalue problem including random variables using Taylor expansion technique is considered. This method is applied to the numerical calculation of the elastic wave equation assuming the stratified layer media with some uncertainties of the values of structural parameters. The accuracy of the approximation by comparing with the values taken from Monte Carlo simulation is observed. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
