The Evolvement of the Library from Information Management to Knowledge Management

Library under the impact of the knowledge economy and information technology, its development environment generates a fundamental shift, at the same time the knowledge economy era the requirements of library users are in constant change, which also determines the library must be on the management from information management to knowledge management. This article mainly from the concept of information management and knowledge management, the difference and connection, to the library in the current era of the necessity of implementing knowledge management and elaborates the content of library implementing knowledge management and library at the same time to better implement of knowledge management strategies are discussed.
