摘要
Deut 27 and 28 consist of curses in 27:14-26 and blessings and curses in ch. 28. The curses in chs. 27 and 28 are completely different in form and function. 27:14-26 enumerates a variety of transgressions, all sanctioned by curse. Ch. 28 knows only one transgression, i.e. not to obey the divine commandments. This transgression provokes a great number of different curses. In its function, 27:14-26 corresponds to the Deut 5 in Decalogue. The only difference is that the transgressions of ch. 27 are committed in secret. Deut 28 in its first part summarizes the theology of blessing of the book of Deuteronomy. In the second part it is completed by the curses. Both Deut 27:14-26 and Deut 28 form an inclusion around Deuteronomy and underline its unity.
