摘要：
Automatic hexahedral mesh generation with VECTIS has been around for almost ten years. For applications related to IC engines, challenges in terms of movement of the computational grid have been addressed even more effectively with the introduction of 'Boundary Mesh Motion'. This chapter presents the philosophy behind the methods adopted and the integration with CAD and other analytical methods to maximize the effectiveness of practical CFD. Examples showing how CFD has been integrated into the design/development cycle at Ricardo are shown.
