By year-end 2001 the markets, the technology, and manufactures and the status of installed wind power capacity are described. The paper describes 5 years forecast from global wind power markets incl, wind turbine technology, rotor blade construction, rotor blade production materials, and production technologies, A business development scenario: rotor blade technology, choice of composite materials, and production technologies as a core business adapted to selective market segments for optimum utilization of wind power.
