Optimum effect of asymmetric laser pulse shape on relativistic laser-plasma wake field

摘要
Effects of asymmetric laser pulse shapes with longer pulse width in falling than in rising on relativistic laser-plasma wake fields is studied. It is found that there exist an optimum pulse width ratio of in falling to in rising which excite the maximum magnitude of wake field potential. An approximate power law for this optimum ratio is obtained numerically.
