摘要
This paper applies a quantization based adaptive algorithm for an implementation of a three phase grid tied solar photovoltaic (SPV) system. This system also provides harmonics elimination and power factor correction (PFC) and thus it maintains an IEEE-519 standard by keeping the harmonics distortion of grid currents below 5%. For successfully extracting the maximum power from the SPV array at varying environmental conditions, a single stage system with P&O (Perturb and Observe) method is used, which is integrated with the quantization based adaptive control for the estimation of reference grid currents. Experimental results of the system performance are demonstrated to validate the design and control algorithm.
