Fabrications of multiwalled carbon nanotubes on patterned electrodes

摘要
Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCN) were grown on electrodes prepared by both e-beam lithography and photolithography with chemical vapor deposition (CVD) of C2H2 at 700 C. Carbon nanotubes were selectively grown on catalyst islands. High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images revealed that multiwalled carbon nanotubes were obtained. As-grown carbon nanotubes could be used for manoelectronic devices directly.
