TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ARCHITECTURE ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Architecture of civil engineering structures can be divided into several categories by function, structure and purpose. Some of these categories, such as bridges, television towers and lookout towers, underground lanes or dams, attract both professional and lay public by their very nature and attractiveness. On the contrary, they seem to fall into oblivion. Research by the Institute of Architecture FAST VUT Brno has outlined the goal of analyzing these neglected categories and reminding them of their architectural values.
