摘要：
Holocene climate data from Greenland ice cores, European tree ring widths and their relation is discussed. The problems related to such proxy data as well as to a volcanic paleo index for stratospheric volcanic aerosol loading are presented. The stacking of data from especially the Greenland and Canadian ice cores and the problems involved are treated. Possible solutions to the problems are presented.
