Survey on features of millimeter wave communication networks

摘要
This article describes development of device architecture for wireless high frequency transport networks which operate in millimeter wave range (71 - 76 GHz and 81 - 86 GHz). Features and issues of this range device design are considered along with applied methods. The example of routing in transport network with duplex frequency channel multiplexing is given. Analysis of influence of signal resolution in digital block of modem, ADC, and DAC and error control codes on modem's proprieties and architecture are presented. Proposed architecture was designed considering methods of compensation of increasing the peak-to-average ratio.
