摘要
Clean steels have been being commercially produced in large scale. The "Clean" is the relative conception, which means that different steels grade have the different clean requirements to meet the need of different use. So various unit metallurgical processes have been used to fulfil the cleanliness of special grade. Zero inclusion steel, that is the inclusions in matrix are highly dispersed, the size of inclusion is less than 1 micro. The aim of this paper is to analyze the possibility of refining zero inclusion steel theoretically, to prospect the properties of zero inclusion steel and discuss the process of refining zero inclusion steel using cold crucible levitation melting.
