摘要
In this paper, we present the construction and first validation of a measure for three components of computer and internet motivation on the basis of expectancy-value models. According to the uses & gratification-approach, for the components enjoyment value and utility value, different conditions of use and stimuli are conceptualized and operationalized. The third component is the computer-related self-efficacy. Two studies (N = 173 and N = 281) support the factorial validity of the measure with confirmatory factor analyses. The reliability and aspects of convergent and discriminant validity were explored. Results indicate the sufficiently valid measure of computer- and internet-related motivations.
