摘要
We will discuss a general framework of dynamics of production and consumption circuits in metropolis of peripheral countries, particularly, the marginal portion of upper circuit. Counting on different levels of capital, technology and organization characterizing them as an upper circuit and a lower circuit, the agents develop productive activities in order to satisfy social demands although in a segmented way. The current constitution of technical phenomenon allows new possibilities of production, distribution and consumption to upper circuit as well as indirectly reorganizes territorial divisions of labor that are necessary but subordinated to hegemonic economy. The diffusion of technology, knowledge and information, that change the nature of general intellect at globalization, enables the development of a new marginal portion with effects in metropolitan space and economy. Our discussion is based on theoretical contributions of several authors and in our own researches in Latin American.
