High Temperature Heat Transfer Property of ZrO2 Fiber Heat-insulating Materials

摘要
Heat transfer property of ZrO2 fiber heat-insulating materials at high temperature was studied by genetic algorithm. Based on the example of ZrO2 fiber heat-insulating material by Zircar Inc., thermal conductivity and radiative heat flux from 400 degrees C to 1650 degrees C was computed. In addition, radiative attenuation coefficient and fraction of conduction, convection and radiation were studied. The results show that the calculated values and experimental values of thermal conductivity fit well. And convection and radiation increase significantly along with temperature. Particularly, radiation increases more rapidly. At 1650 degrees C, radiative heat transfer accounts for about 41% of the total heat transfer flux.
