摘要
This paper is concerned with the dynamic response of semi-continuous composite beams. A brief review of acceptable natural frequencies of floor systems to provide occupancy comfort is conducted. A method for modelling the dynamic response of semi-continuous composite beams using a beam finite element program is then presented and this is augmented with the appropriate spring stiffness associated with the semi-rigid joints existent at the beam-column locations. The stiffness of the continuous composite beams is modelled using a transformed section analysis procedure coupled with the Eurocode 4 model for the required regions of cracked and uncracked sections. A parametric study is conducted to determine beam natural frequencies for various span configurations and these are compared with acceptable values with favourable outcomes. The paper concludes by outlining further research, including experimental calibration and consideration of the effects of partial sheer interaction and connection on the dynamic response of semi-continuous composite beams.
