Inclusion of the piezoelectric properties of a piezoelectric-crystal plate in the calculation of the channel of a direct-acting transducer

摘要
The piezoelectric properties of a piezoelectric-crystal plate are responsible for changes in the electric field strength in the plate. An assessment is made of how taking those properties fully into account affects the phase velocity of elastic waves in the plate, the frequency spectrum of the emitted signal, the directional diagram of the direct-acting transducer (during emission), and the coefficient of the inverse photoelectric effect. It has been found that when this is done the resonance frequency of the piezoelectric-crystal plate changes considerably less than predicted.
