INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY AS A LINK BETWEEN INFORMAL AND FORMAL LEARNING - EXAMPLES FROM CROATIA

摘要
The primary objective of this paper is to provide a summary of the current state of the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) in Croatian schools and to describe a few positive examples that echoed outside the borders of Croatia. The introductory part deals with a brief theoretical review of informal learning and ICT, in particular, reference will be made to some common benefits which could be aimed at effective learning processes. In this regard, we will attempt to discover certain links between formal and informal learning, which can be identified in the described projects, keeping in mind the guiding principle that "(...) pupils can not be effective in the world of tomorrow, if we teach them yesterday's skills." (Papic 2011, p. 30).
