摘要
In this paper, a high-gain dual circularly polarized lens horn antenna array based on lens loading is proposed. The axial stepped cylindrical dielectric lens is loaded to compensate the phase of the antenna and guide the direction of electromagnetic waves, thereby the directivity of the antenna is significantly improved. The gain of the horn antenna element in the 9GHz similar to 10GHz frequency band is better than 14dBi, and has good circular polarization characteristics (Axial Ratio (+/- 14 degrees) < 3dB). The gain of the antenna array composed of 4x4 antenna elements in the operating band of 9GHz similar to 10GHz is better than 24dBi. The results show that loading the axial stepped cylindrical dielectric lens significantly improves the gain of the dual circularly polarized horn antenna array.
