USING THE RESEARCH AS A STRATEGY FOR CHILDHOOD'S TEACHER ACADEMIC TRAINING

摘要
This communication describes an experiment done with student teachers in the third year of their Early Childhood Education teaching degree at the University of Seville. The experiment was conducted in the mandatory subject of Knowledge of the Social Environment in Early Childhood Education. The basis for this experiment is student research as a strategy for experiencing and reflecting on a form of learning underpinned by their own interests and follows the different phases of a research process. After group research into social subject matter determined by the group itself, the students reflect on learning whilst seeking to identify the opportunities that this type of work provides in an Early Childhood Education class. This enables any practical professional issues to be identified around which the subject content can be organized.
