摘要
This article presents the results of a collective investigation carried out by teachers and secondary-level students of a pre-university school. Said research allows the opinion of the residents and merchants of the city of Olavarria (Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina) about the implementation of a new metered parking system, which entails a higher tax burden for citizens. For this reason, the survey pays special attention to the impact of this new system from a socioeconomic point of view. In this way, the concept of commercialization of public space is analyzed as an increasingly notable trend in the country's cities, which is consistent with a neoliberal political / economic model.
