摘要
Despite the fact that project managers have acquired a key role in the organization of work in the translation industry, there have been very few studies on their competences. This article presents the results of a survey carried out among 150 translators and reviewers asking for their opinion on the specific translation competences that they most value in the profile of a project manager. This paper is preceded by three studies (an analysis of a corpus of job advertisements, a study of some teaching guides for project management subjects and a survey among project managers), which have the aim of establishing a research framework from which to develop a competence model for project managers thanks to the triangulation of both methodological and data sources.
