The Design and Practice of Military English "Flipped Classroom" Teaching Model Based on Micro-lecture

摘要
This paper mainly discusses the teaching design of military English "flipping classroom" based on micro-course that covering three chapters in general. Firstly, introduction which introduces our military's current demand for military English, the basic definition of micro-courses, and the necessity of this research. Secondly, according to the content of the fifth unit of Intermediate Military English, a micro-lecture-based military English flipped classroom teaching is designed: including students' situation analysis and textbook introduction, as well as the introduction of the entire classroom design and implementation process (The implementation process is divided into three parts: pre-class activities, classroom activities and after-school extensions). Finally, the conclusion is that the general military English flipped classroom teaching design based on micro-classes can strengthen the pertinence of self-study before class and improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching, strengthen the continuity and practicality of after-school review, so as to truly promote the students' self-learning ability, effective output ability and the comprehensive application of military English comprehensive ability, and maintain the interest, enthusiasm and motivation of the cadets in military English learning.
