摘要
The pneumatology of Christian Duquoc is presented in three works: Messianisme de Jesus et discretion de Dieu, L'Unique Christ and Dieu partage. Duquoc conceives of the Spirit as the incompleteness of revelation, rather than as its seal. The Spirit enables us to avoid succumbing to the totalitarian temptation of positing a premature unity: in fact, ultimate meaning eludes us; in that context, the relation between the individual and the collective is conceived essentially in terms of resistance. In the end, the Spirit designates that which is universal in Christian experience via three criteria given in Scripture for discerning what is of the Spirit : reasonable doctrine, respect for the other and the creative fidelity of the witness. But for all that it is rich and liberating, is there not another side to this theology of the interim : how can one grant the fragmentary character of the truth without evacuating it of coherence?
