Performance Improvement for PID Controller Design with Guaranteed Stability Margin for Certain Classes of MIMO Systems

摘要
Our previous results indicate that there is freedom to choose some parameters in the closed-loop stabilization with guaranteed stability margin using Proportional+Integral+Derivative (PID) controllers. In this paper, such parameters are used to improve the overall performance for a class of MIMO systems. The procedure is demonstrated through an MIMO example. Sufficient conditions for the existence of PID-controllers which stabilize two classes of unstable MIMO systems with guaranteed stability margin are also derived.
