摘要：
Although FDG PET/CT imaging provides high sensitivity in several kinds of cancer and has many applications, it is important to recognize that FDG is not a "specific" radiotracer for imaging malignant disease and that its sensitivity is also sometimes limited (especially for well-differentiated or slow growing tumours). Highly "tumour-specific" complementary PET radiopharmaceuticals are then essential to evaluate. Some examples of the potential clinical utility of specific PET radiopharmaceuticals are reported in this issue. (C) 2009 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
