摘要
A German version of the Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale (MPS-F; Frost, Marten, Lahart und Rosenblate, 1990) is introduced. The factorial validity and the internal consistency of the six sub-scales were determined using a sample of 1,170 persons. Several factor models were compared using confirmatory factor analysis. An acceptable fit was obtained for a model with six correlated factors whose scales had satisfactory or good internal consistencies. Based on a subsample of 270 persons, the criterion validity and incremental validity of the scales were, determined using depression and positive vs. negative mood as theoretically relevant criteria. Satisfactory construct validity was obtained for Personal Standards, Cancern over Mistakes, and Doubts about Action but not for Organization, Parental Expectations, and Parental Criticism. Based on a subsample of 387 persons, we confirmed a process model with active coping and social support as mediators of the effect of perfectionism on life satisfaction and job satisfaction as components of well-being.
