摘要：
Flood protection structures are exposed to unique operation conditions of being required to perform their protection function under rare and exceptional conditions, whilst they are continuously exposed to deteriorating processes. The feasibility of extending the Successful application of structural reliability to the development of rational yet simple limit states design procedures to the maintenance of flood protection studies is presented in this paper.
