Application of BP neural network model in water quality evaluation in Yanqi Basin, Xinjiang, China

摘要
Water environmental pollution has uncertainty and fuzziness, which results from many influential factors. In this paper, the authors use BP neural network and Integrated Contaminative Index to evaluate surface water and groundwater quality in Yanqi basin. The results show that the BP neural network model can resolve primely complicated non-linear relation between evaluating factors and water quality grade, and the method is objective, practical and applicable in water quality evaluation.
