Historical and Science Studies Project of N. A. Morozov

The article analyzes the concept of science by N. A. Morozov - the famous revolutionary and scientist whose name is almost forgotten in the last quarter of the century. The article describes his project of 1928 on the organization of Historical and Methodological Society. The work is based on archival materials of the N. A. Morozov fund in the Academy of Sciences. The original research methodology stated by Historical and Methodological Society is analyzed. Morozov's concept of philosophy of science is investigated as it determined his historical and scientific search. There are also scientific biography and studies of the history of science of professor V. R. Mrochek - one of the closest Morozov's colleague at the P. F. Lesgaft research institute, the active assistant in historical research.
