Simulation on Dynamic Track Tension of the High-Speed Tracked Vehicle

摘要
The dynamic track tension of high-speed tracked vehicles is investigated by a dynamic multibody model. The influencing factors on track dynamic tension are analyzed. These main factors include pretensions, vehicle speeds, road surface and running status. The results indicate dynamic tension linearly increases with the pretensions increase. Dynamic tension changes evidently with the road surface. Velocity has little influence on dynamic tension. Dynamic tension changes significantly when accelerating and decelerating. The results are helpful to understand the track dynamic tension and instructive to design track and analyze the dynamic performance of the tracked vehicles.
