Molecular calculation of charge transfer cross sections in C4++Hcollisions

摘要
We report total and partial charge transfer cross sections for C4+ + H collisions in the energy range 0.01-10 keV/amu, calculated using a molecular basis and quantal and semiclassical formalisms. Our total charge transfer cross section does not show the sharp structure found in the experimental measurements of Bliek et al (1997 Phys. Rev. A 56 526) at E similar or equal to 400 eV/amu.
