摘要
With the development of economic and the improvement of urbanization, the labor mobility in China is becoming more and more widespread. Also, with the accumulation of labor mobility, there has been a feature that the labor force concentrated from the underdeveloped areas to the developed areas. The characteristics of high-speed railway (HSR) such as timeliness and regional accessibility can promote the process of urbanization, induce employment. Thereby it attracts labor mobility, and creates labor agglomeration. Based on the theory of "cyclic accumulation of causality", this paper establishes the mechanism of the impact of HSR on labor agglomeration. We conduct an empirical analysis of the three cities along the HSR of the Beijing-Guangzhou line, and analyze whether the Beijing-Guangzhou line has an impact on the labor agglomeration.
