摘要
The paper presents a model of grain boundary diffusion supplemented by kinetic equations of oxide formation under isothermal conditions. In the proposed model, the alloy material represents the alternation of intermetallic grains and grain-boundary triple junctions. Diffusion and kinetic properties of grains and grain boundaries are different. The model is used to describe the intermetallic alloy oxidation in the bulk and along grain boundaries. The concentration distribution of elements and oxides changes in the average integral concentration of oxides are investigated in varying the reaction rate constants in grains and at the grain boundaries.
