摘要
Testing strategies for skin and eye irritation/corrosion and phototoxicity were devised on the basis of five principles agreed by the OECD Workshop held in 1996. It was recommended that the irritation/corrosion strategies should be integrated as soon as possible into revisions of the appropriate OECD Test Guidelines; a similar proposal for phototoxicity must await additional work on the validation of in vitro tests and an option for including new in viva tests for this endpoint should be delayed until this work has been completed.
