摘要
This paper makes an analysis of the major problems existing in the current self-access center: Most of the so-called SAC are only computer rooms, and both teachers and students know little about their new roles in the SAC and the importance of the SAC in developing the learners' autonomy. In order to bring the functions of SAC into full play, teachers should play new teaching roles, the teaching resources database must be rebuilt and the language exchange section should be built up.
