Research on the Coordinated Development of Tourism and Regional Economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region

Tourism and regional economy influence each other and also they depend on each other. Thus, the coordinated developmentof tourism and regional economy is of great importance.By combining the coupling coordination model and gear model, this paper studies the coordination of each city's tourism and regional economy in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. And, we use the SPSS software to processthe cross section data in 2015 to calculate the couplingcoordination degree of 13 cities' tourism industry and regional economy.We concludethat coupling coordination degree of tourism and regional economy in different cities of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion is unbalanced, and the coupling coordinated development of economically developed cities is generally higher than the city that is less developed. Only Beijing's tourism industry and regional economyeached super coordination; Tianjin and Qinhuangdaoboth reached good coordination, and the rest of the city is relatively low degree of coordination or in anuncoordinated state. Finally, this paper gives the policy suggestions such as increasing the infrastructure investment and promoting regional tourism cooperation.
